About Us

Please allow me to introduce myself, Joanna Nelson-Atencio and I have lived in Durango since 1978. I am currently a licensed Radiologic Technologist, specializing in the field of Mammography for the past 22 years. Recently I completed the Breath and Alcohol Technician qualifications course as well as qualifications for the Urine Collector course. I am proficient in the 49 CFR Part 40 procedures and have trained by a DATIA and SAPAA certified trainer.

My new office is located at 862 Main Avenue, suite 212.  At this time I can provide full-service drug testing; immediate response screening; laboratory testing with medical review; evidential breath alcohol testing; consortium management for Federal DOT-mandated testing is available, as well as mobile-on-site testing. I can also provide a multi-drug screening service that can include testing for up to 10 or 12 drugs.  Among these 12 are: cannabinoids, cocaine, amphetamine, opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, and an evaluation for adulterants. Such screenings can be used for pre-employment, post-accident, random screening, return to duty, or reasonable suspicion.  If non-negative it is sent to SAMHSA certified laboratory for confirmation.

I would like to also offer my services of mobile on-site drug testing to the Four Corners area for people who cannot or do not wish to travel to a drug testing facility for Drug Free Workplace, DOT regulated, and corrections.  Screenings include:

  • Drug Testing
  • ETG Alcohol Testing (corrections only)
  • Rapid Urine Drug Screening
  • Urine Testing
  • Breath/Alcohol Testing

For the Court ordered testing, I have an account established with Norchem Drug Testing Lab which provides the service Norchem Sentry: Norchem Sentry™ enables evidence-directed decisions in substance abuse monitoring programs. Norchem Sentry is at the heart of drug testing case management, touching on every part of the drug abuse management ecosystem.

I look forward to answering any questions you might have and hope to do business with you soon.
